How do I book Studio 10, and how far in advance should I get in touch?
Booking is straightforward. Simply call us on 01202 028178 or complete the contact form with your preferred date and the type of shoot you have planned. We will confirm availability and talk through any equipment you need. Popular dates fill quickly, so getting in touch a few weeks ahead gives you the widest choice of time slots.
What's included in the half-day and full-day dry hire price?
“Dry hire” means you get exclusive use of the infinity cove space itself, without lighting or camera equipment included. Half-day hire from £200+VAT and full-day hire from £300+VAT cover the studio space only. If you need lighting, backdrops, or a camera kit, mention this when enquiring, and we’ll quote for the additional equipment you require.
How big is Studio 10, and will it fit my crew and equipment?
Studio 10’s infinity cove is large enough for product shoots, portraits, small-group photography, and video setups with lighting rigs on either side. Exact dimensions and the best layout depend on your shoot, so let us know your crew size and equipment when you enquire, and we’ll confirm whether the space suits your plans.
Can I choose a different backdrop colour, or is the studio always white?
The infinity cove gives you a seamless white backdrop as standard, ideal for product shoots, portraits, and clean commercial work. If your project calls for coloured backdrops, props, or a specific set design, let us know in advance. We can discuss what’s possible within the space or point you toward suitable additional equipment.
Do you provide a photographer or videographer, or is it just the studio space?
We offer Studio 10 as a self-hire space, giving you exclusive use of the cove and any equipment you bring or hire alongside it. If you’d prefer Bold Media’s own photographers or videographers to run your shoot rather than self-shoot, just mention this when enquiring, and we’ll talk through what that would involve.
Is parking available, and how do I find the studio on the day?
On-site parking is available. We’ll send full directions and parking guidance once we confirm your booking, so you know exactly where to go and where to park on the day. If you’re bringing a van, trailer, or larger equipment, mention this when booking so we can advise on the easiest way to load in.
What if I need extra lighting or camera equipment that isn't already in the studio?
Lighting and camera equipment beyond the standard studio setup is available to hire at an additional cost. When you enquire, tell us what you need for your shoot, whether that’s specific lighting modifiers, additional camera bodies, or grip equipment, and our team will put together a quote alongside your studio hire.
What are the studio's opening hours, and what counts as a half day?
We design half-day and full-day hire around a typical shoot day, giving you enough time to set up, shoot, and pack down without rushing. We’ll confirm exact start times and hours when you book, so let us know your preferred date, and we’ll arrange a slot that fits your schedule.
What's your policy if I need to cancel or reschedule my booking?
Plans change, and we understand that. Get in touch as early as possible if you need to reschedule, and we’ll do our best to find you an alternative slot. We’ll confirm any notice periods or rescheduling terms when you book, so you know exactly where you stand.
What does the "Content Day" package mentioned on the site include?
